About Us

About Midwest Cancer CareMidwest Cancer Care is a network of hospitals and physicians that brings together the expertise and technology to provide patients throughout our region with a new level of care and support as they face cancer. Midwest Cancer Care physicians are board-certified in medical oncology, radiation oncology and specialties such as gynecologic oncology and surgery. Our nursing and health staff is comprised of skilled, experienced cancer practitioners.

The Midwest Cancer Care network is anchored by the comprehensive cancer programs at Menorah Medical Center and Research Medical Center. Both are accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer as Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Programs. In addition, Centerpoint Medical Center also has an accredited Community Hospital Cancer Program. All three strive to exceed national oncology standards.

Midwest Cancer Care's network offers a comprehensive range of testing and treatment options, such as inpatient cancer services with a dedicated leukemia/lymphoma unit, surgical services, unparalleled radiation oncology services, and outpatient chemotherapy facilities. Nurse navigators and nurse educators are available to help guide patients through their cancer journey. Additionally, Midwest Cancer Care offers genetic counseling and specialized treatments such as lymphedema therapy. The network also offers cancer support, screening and education programs for patients and families as well as cancer clinical case conferences to help ensure a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatments.
